We are offering an exciting opportunity for an aggressive self-starter who can follow up on leads, develop relationships with established and prospective customers, and increase business through effective sales techniques. This individual will help us continue to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This is a fast-paced business with a reputation for quality, custom products, and outstanding customer service for 32+ years. FASTSIGNS San Mateo is one of the oldest and highest-volume sign centers in the FASTSIGNS network of over 700 franchised centers worldwide and we are looking for someone to help double our sales in the next five years.

Great working hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.
Ability to travel within the Bay Area to client locations to perform site surveys and develop client relationships. Site visits are generally conducted on the Peninsula near our office in San Mateo, between San Francisco & San Jose.

Responsibilities

Research, develop & maintain a database of leads using a variety of sales techniques and Linkedin.
Consultatively sell a variety of signs & graphic products (product training provided), targeting large accounts.
Grow an existing database of accounts by cross-selling and being introduced to new buyers through existing contacts.
Make a large volume of phone calls and e-mails in order to generate appointments.
Perform site surveys, meet with customers at their place of business, take measurements and upsell additional graphics when possible.
Generate price quotes and follow up quickly.
Generate work orders with specifications for items that fulfill customers' needs.
Work with the team to ensure projects are completed correctly and on time.
Perform other tasks as required to complete projects and achieve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Desirable Characteristics

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
2+ years of B2B sales experience.
Proven success stories from previous sales experience.
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
Business-minded.
Understands the importance of quality and consistent customer service.
Motivated by money, but understands building a relationship for the sake of a long-term partnership is important.
General aptitude and mental ability to conduct outside sales.
Great attitude, good presence, and energy. Not afraid of rejection and makes people feel at ease.
Integrity and a strong work ethic.
Ability to multi-task independently with good follow-through.
